今天讓我們來看看幾個非常棒的建議，來幫助你克服和別人說英語或其它外語的恐懼：

1.Accept that you are going to make mistakes and learn from them

你會犯錯——接受這一點。并且在錯誤中學習和成長。

People make mistakes all the time, especially when speaking a new language. Don’t be sad or feel disappointed if you make mistakes; it’s part of the process of improving your speaking. Once you have made a mistake, correct it and carry on. As Albert Einstein said, “Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving”.

人們都會犯錯誤，尤其是說一門外語的時候。不要因為犯了錯誤就感到傷心或者失望;犯錯誤是提升英語口語的必經階段。犯錯誤的時候，就馬上改正并且繼續努力。就像阿爾伯特·愛因斯坦說的，“人生就像騎自行車。如果你想保持平衡，你必須保持前進。”

2. Ask for help

尋求幫助

Once you have started speaking English, don’t be afraid to ask people questions about how to say or pronounce something. Most of the time people will be more than happy to help you if you have any questions. They may not be so happy if you ask them grammar questions as they may not know the answers themselves but I’m sure there will be no problem with vocabulary and pronunciation questions!

在你開始說英語后，不要害怕問別人某句話怎么說、或者某個單詞怎么發音。大部分情況下，你問別人問題他們會感到很高興。但如果你問語法問題他們(外國人)可能就不高興了，因為可能他們自己都不太清楚語法。不我能肯定，如果你問他們詞匯或者發音問題那是絕對可以的。

3. Learn some survival phrases or sentences

學習一些生存應急的短語或句子

It’s a great idea to learn some set phrases or answers for certain questions in English. For example, if you don’t understand what someone says to you, say things like “I’m sorry, could you repeat that?” or “I’m sorry, I didn’t understand what you said”, phrases you have already memorised. This is a great way of being honest with yourself and also learning how to react to situations or questions which may take you by surprise.

學習一些英語固定詞組、或者某個問題的特定回答方式，這很好。比如，如果你不懂別人在對你說什么，你說一些背下來的句子：“抱歉，你可以重復一遍嗎?”或者“抱歉，我沒有理解你剛才說的內容。”這是一種實事求是的態度，而且通過這種方式你也可以學到怎么面對一些你意想不到的情況或者問題。

4. Don’t be shy!

不要害羞!

One of non-native speakers’ biggest problems is being too shy to speak. This can be the biggest hurdle for a lot of people. Be aware though that most people speak more than one language and know how difficult it is to learn a new one. Also, most people really don’t even notice if you say something wrong or if you are too shy; most of the time we have false perceptions of what others may think when really nothing could be further from the truth.

非母語口語者最大的問題是因為害羞而不敢開口。這是大多數人所面臨的最大的障礙。你要意識到大多數人不止說一種語言、而且學一門外語真的很難。還有，在你說錯話或者很害羞的時候、大部分人都不會注意到的;很多時候我們會誤認為別人對我們有看法，然而事實并非如此。

5. Enjoy yourself!

享受說外語!

You are learning another language for a reason so go ahead, have fun, make mistakes and even invent new words! It’s all part of the process.

你肯學一門外語那肯定是有原因的，所以別多想只管好好學吧!盡情享受、盡情犯錯，甚至盡情去創造新詞!因為這些都是學外語的必經過程。

所以，每天開口練英語吧，別害怕!
