This small book contains a fairy tale, a story about many things. First of all, Innocence of Childhood and love. The prince loves his roses, but felt disappointed by something the rose said. As doubt grows, he decides to explore other planet. The little prince discovers that his rose is not the only one of its kind, there are thousands of them in a garden, but then he realizes that his rose is special "because it is she that I have watered; because it is she that I have put under the glass globe; because it is she that I have sheltered behind the screen". The fox teaches the prince "It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye "

小王子簡(jiǎn)介

本書是法國(guó)兒童文學(xué)的一部經(jīng)典作品，小說敘述者是個(gè)飛行員，他在故事一開始告訴讀者，他在大人世界找不到一個(gè)說話投機(jī)的人，因?yàn)榇笕硕继v實(shí)際了。接著，飛行員講了六年前他因飛機(jī)故障迫降在撒哈拉沙漠遇見小王子的故事。神秘的小王子來自另一個(gè)星球。飛行員講了小王子和他的玫瑰的故事。小王子為什么離開自己的星球；在抵達(dá)地球之前，他又訪問過哪些星球。他轉(zhuǎn)述了小王子對(duì)六個(gè)星球的歷險(xiǎn)，他遇見了國(guó)王、愛虛榮的人、酒鬼、商人、點(diǎn)燈人、地理學(xué)家、蛇、三枚花瓣的沙漠花、玫瑰園、扳道工、商販、狐貍以及我們的敘述者飛行員本人。飛行員和小王子在沙漠中共同擁有過一段極為珍貴的友誼。當(dāng)小王子無法回到他的玫瑰身邊，他選擇了死亡。飛行員非常悲傷。他一直非常懷念他們共度的時(shí)光。他為紀(jì)念小王子寫了這部小說。

I ask the indulgence of the children who may read this book for dedicating it to a grown-up. I have a serious reason: he is the best friend I have in the world. I have another reason: this grown-up understands everything, even books about children. I have a third reason: he lives in France where he is hungry and cold. He needs cheering up. If all these reasons are not enough, I will dedicate the book to the child from whom this grown-up grew. All grown-ups were once children-- although few of them remember it. And so I correct my dedication:
