龍抬頭是每年，農歷二月初二，傳說是龍抬頭的日子，它是中國的一個傳統節日。慶祝“龍頭節”，以示敬龍祈雨，讓老天保佑豐收。

龍抬頭都有哪些有趣的習俗呢？

二月二，傳說是堯王的誕辰。在南方，如客家地區等，是土地公公的生日，稱“土地誕”，為給土地公公“暖壽”，有的地方有舉辦“土地會”的習俗：家家湊錢為土地神祝賀生日，到土地廟燒香祭祀，敲鑼鼓，放鞭炮。同時，北方地區在節日期間也有吃豬頭肉、理發（剪“龍頭”）的習俗。

It begins when the Sun reachesthe celestial longitude of 345° and ends when it reaches the longitude of 360°.It more often refers in particular to the day when the Sun is exactly at thecelestial longitude of 345°. In the Gregorian calendar, it usually beginsaround March 5 and ends around March 20.

The word 驚蟄 has the meaning of awakening ofhibernated insects. 驚 is startling, and 蟄 is hibernated (insects). The traditional Chinese farming culturesaid that during Jingzhe, thunderstorms will wake up the hibernated insects,which also means the weather is getting warm.

“驚蟄”意為“驚醒冬眠的昆蟲”。驚蟄期間，雷雨增多，因此冬眠的蟲類會被驚起，這也意味著天氣會越來越暖。

Perfume bags filled with the powder ofground fragrant herbs are made to be carried by women and children for goodfortune, though they are no longer used as insect repellent as in ancienttimes.
